Incompetency

Do you have a loved one who is unable to care for themselves without assistance due to issues from birth, a terrible accident, a drug addiction, or a debilitating disease such as Alzheimer’s or dementia? Do you believe that you are the best person to ensure their safety and well-being? If so, you may need file a Petition with the Probate Court to declare this person “incompetent” in order to acquire Guardianship or Conservatorship over them. In order to do this, a mental evaluation will need to be performed, a Guardian Ad Litem will need to be appointed and a hearing will need to be conducted before the Probate Court.

If you have a loved one with this unfortunate condition, you should not try to do this on your own. It is a complicated process with numerous intricacies that only an experienced Probate Attorney can handle. At the Law Offices of Brian A. Dasinger, we have helped numerous clients through “incompetency” hearings. We have the knowledge and skill necessary to get this accomplished quickly and painlessly so that you can protect your loved one as you see fit. Call the Law Offices of Brian A.
